Being a driven leader and putting collaboration at the forefront of all projects is the key for success at any institutional level. I believe in ongoing professional development and staying informed and educated on the most current library issues and trends to ensure student success.
The library should serve as the central learning hub for all students, and strive to meet goals and standards set forth by the American Library Association (ALA). The librarian shall collaborate and offer support to all stakeholders to provide enriched academic opportunities.
To ensure all students have equal access to library resources, reference materials, and technology. The library will service all stakeholders. The library collection will be comprised of diverse titles and literary works of merit. In addition, the librarian will ensure the non-fiction collection, both print and digital, will be relevant to today's learners.
